Midterms are here and everyone is stressed about them. What could be a better way to relieve some of that stress than throwing a huge snowball fight? This is already a second fight this semester. I was so sad I couldn't make the first one because of an assignment due the same day but this time I made sure I was there to witness this!

Besides that it's a lot fun to have a snowball fight it's also about school pride. Some other universities in Toronto and other surrounding cities had already had their snowball fights and ours of course had to be bigger and better than theirs. In Facebook there was almost 2 thousand people attending to the event but it was hard to say how many of them really showed up.
It's -16 degrees today so the snow was not the best kind for making snowballs. Somehow people just managed to make the balls though and at least it didn't hurt anyone because it was so soft.
The local news were also there and tried to record in the middle of the battlefield.
I love that people here are active and organizing things like this. That's really something we could learn to do more in Finland. This event was not organized by any particular club or team, someone just made and event on Facebook and everyone joined!
