Only the best ones survive!

When you are leaving your own dear wardrobe and home for the entire spring it would be easy to over pack. During every single holiday trip I have made in my life I have done that mistake. It doesn't only leave you less room for souvenirs but also makes your clothing choices harder during the trip. This time I am leaving for 4 months and I have decided to pack smart. I will only choose pieces that match with at least 2 other ones.

 It's funny how someone who has lived her whole life in Finland is freaking out about the weather conditions in Canada. I will spend the coldest months of the year there and have decided that my favorite sweaters are essential pieces to take with me. Of course I cannot take all of them with me so I cut them down to two sweaters and two cardigans that all match up with at least two of my bottoms or dresses.

 When it comes to party wear I will finally try how far can you go with just a little black dress.

4 months is short but a long time at the same time. Long enough that you start missing your favorite things from home. I'm glad my friends took care of that and bought all my favorite candies for me.

  Hi! My name is Annika and this is my new blog! I live in Finland but I'm leaving to Canada for spring to study at the University of Guelph. I have wanted to start a blog already for a long time and time will show how this will shape up. I will mostly post photos and even though I will be in Canada during this spring this blog will be more than a blog about my student exchange. If you like my pictures that's great and if you hate them please don't waste your precious time by coming back. 

The first pictures are from my last weeks in Finland for a while. I have celebrated my upcoming Canada adventure with friends and had a lovely and relaxing christmas with the family.
